About Me

Hi! I'm Nancy, a public speaker and author specializing in helping others find hope and healing through faith and poetry. I am from Iowa and have a B.S. in Human Relations from Rockford University with SPHR certification. After beginning my career in staffing, I embarked upon a journey as a Human Resources Specialist, working closely with people, and that was truly my passion. I am also an avid public speaker, presenting within various ministries and through Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, hang-ups, and habits of any kind.

I've had many challenges, beginning in childhood and continuing into adulthood. And some of those hardships were extreme, like facing death four times. I wrote my first book, Suffering, The Treasures We Find, after being inspired to share my stories of triumph and closeness with God in hopes that it may help others struggling.  

Upon retiring from my professional HR career in 2022, I was inspired to write my second book, a devotional called Sacred Seasons. Our seasons of life are all sacred; some are painful, and others are filled with joy and gratitude, but they're all connected to God. I hope that beloved readers will glean truths that will set them free in a way they've never experienced.
